OIL TESTING

With growing focus on environmental and safety standards, both at international and European level, the European Commission has over the past years introduced an increasing number of stringent health, safety and environmental requirements which are applicable in the tyres sector as in others.

REFINING OF OIL

Entender oil used in tyre industry are derived from refining in the petrochemicals industry. Their function is to facilitate the processing of the rubber compounds from which tyres are made. Extender oils are also essential component in the technical performence of the tyre, in particular forits road adherence or frip and wear properties, and ensure that tyres wear out more slowly.

LOW PAH OIL

Following the precautionary approach of the European Union, the Highly Aromatic-Oils were banned. Toxicity of process oils is a major concern at present. This development of Epoxidised vegetable oils are proposed to be used as a heterogeneous catalayst that gives increased ocirane content and reduced reaction time. The catalyst is used to offering cost savings and environmental sustainability.
